Environment Minister Chirau Ali Mwakwere: He has made various appointments today

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 10 (1) (e) of the Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act, the Minister for Environment and Mineral Resources appoints - Susan M. Mutimbi (Dr.) to be a Board member of the National Environment Management Authority, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 1st June, 2012.

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 24 (3) of the Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act, the Minister for Environment and Mineral Resources appoints - Masudi Ali Mwakileo to be a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Environment Trust Fund, for  period of three (3) years, with effect from the 1st June, 2012. Dated the 8th June, 2012.

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 1 (a) of the Schedule of Valuers Act, the Minister for Lands appoints - Anthony Matenge Itui to be the Chairman of the Valuers Registration Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 1st July, 2012. Dated the 15th June, 2012.

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 1 (b) of the Schedule of Valuers Act, the Minister for Lands appoints - Ruth M. Kiviu to be a member of the Valuers Registration Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 1st July, 2012. Dated the 15th June, 2012.

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 6 (1) of the Civil Aviation (Investigations of Accidents) Regulations, 1979, the Minister for Transport appoint - Clatus Macowenga to be Chief Inspector of Accidents, for a period of one and half (11/2) years with effect from 5th January, 2012. Dated the 19th June, 2012.

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 4A of the Tea (Amendment) Act, 2011, the Minister for Agriculture appoints - Sicily Kanini Kariuki to be the Managing Director and Secretary to the board of the Tea Board of Kenya, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 26th May, 2012. IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 77 (1) (a) of the Co-operative Societies Act (Cap. 490), the Minister for Co-operative Development and Marketing, appoints - Beatrice Wambui Mathenge as Deputy Chairperson of the Co-operative Tribunal, with effect from the 15th June, 2012. IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 51 of the Water Act, 2002, the Minister for Water and Irrigation appoints - Samuel Kaleng Loumo to be a member of the Board of Directors of Rift Valley Water Services Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 14th June, 2012.
